Irish Mythology

The Morrigan (also spelled Mórrígan or Morrígan) is one of the most fascinating figures in Irish mythology. Her name is roughly pronounced MORE-ree-gun, although pronunciation changed over the history of the Irish language. She is often described as a goddess of war, but that description only tells part of the story.
